In this school, great masters graduated who had the mission of leaving this place to countries of other continents to spread these styles.

Chinese martial arts school "Shaolin Kung-Fu The Dragon Dance", where
he graduated Master João Nelson Gonçalves, based in Madeira today.
Chi Kung / Qi-Gong
氣功
This oriental exercise stimulates better circulation of Chi (Qi), with health benefits to the people who participate in the classes. It combines circular body movements with deep and adequate breathing and can be performed even by the elderly for its low impact and therapeutic goodness, with benefits on the nervous, muscular, respiratory, lymphatic, circulatory, sensory, immune and cardiovascular systems. It provides great emotional balance, a sense of peace and tranquillity.

太极拳
This ancient Chinese knowledge of simple practice is characterized by the combination of simultaneous work of body and mind; it is also recognized as a form of meditation in motion. Master Chen Wang Ting, a general of the Ming Dynasty in Henan province, created it.
It is practiced in a smooth and slow way, with focus on breathing and body positions during the execution of the movements, allowing the connection between mind and body, thus being of great benefit to the practitioner's health. The exercises do not require great physical exertion and is now used as an anti-stress session to release the tensions accumulated by work.
Although Tai Chi Chuan is a martial art, it is currently practiced by people of all ages, including the elderly, thanks to its therapeutic kindness *.

Shaolin
少林功夫
It originated in the famous namesake temple still preserved in the Song Mountains, Henan province, China.
The movements of modern forms alternate hardness and softness within a rhythmic pattern of great homogeneity. The sets are fast with flexible but fast-paced postures. *
The master who transmitted this art, in this school, was the Grand Master (Shifu) Fu Shun Nan - 傅松南, with an international trajectory and recognition, master of the Shaolin Kung-Fu the Dragon Dance School since 1979.
Tang Lang Chuen

螳螂拳
The Tang Lang Chuen or Religious Mantis style, also known as Mantis, is one of the most powerful of Chinese Martial Art, arose in Shantung Province (North China) in the first half of the 17th century, and was created by the martial artist Wang Lang.
Characterized by its strength and rapid succession of mixed movements of hands and feet over elastic, expressive, vigorous and bold movements. This wonderful and complete fighting style has been spread by Shifus Masters Tai She Che - 戴士哲 and Su Yu Chang at the Shaolin Kung-Fu the Dragon Dance School since its inauguration. In 1979, Master Su Yu Chang left to form his own school.
Pa Kua Chang / Baghua Zhang
八卦掌
It is an internal Wu-Shu style known as the 8-trigram palm. It was born in the nineteenth century, created by Master Dong Hai-Chuan, a respected martial artist, knowledgeable of human nature. It's goal is to maintain harmony in change through various body movements combined with proper breathing. People of any age group can practise this style.
